Krishna Duwal
Krishna Duwal is a development professional with over eight years of experience working at the intersection of clean cooking, energy access, and gender-responsive programming in Nepal. He joined PEEDA in January 2026 and currently serves as a Senior Project Officer at PEEDA, where he supports the implementation of electric cooking and clean energy initiatives aimed at improving household energy use, livelihoods, and women’s empowerment.
Krishna brings strong expertise in project design and planning, community engagement, behavior change communication, stakeholder coordination, and monitoring and evaluation, with a particular focus on market development and capacity building. He works closely with government agencies, NGOs, microfinance institutions, and private sector partners to help scale e-cooking solutions nationwide.
He holds a Master’s degree in Gender Studies and is currently pursuing MPhil/PhD studies, enabling him to thoughtfully integrate gender equality and social inclusion into sustainable and inclusive energy programs.
