PEEDA successfully conducted the final level of essay and poem competition on issues related to climate change wherein the students from project areas namely Namdu, Mirge, Jungu and Thulopatal participated. As far as the procedure of such competition is concerned, the competition was executed initially in three different schools each of Namdu, Mirge and Jungu respectively whereas in case of Jungu the competition was conducted in one of the school. The winners of this first round then participated in the second round thus the students participated in their respective project areas and there were winners of both essay and poem from different project areas. Finally, the students then participated in the final round of competition that was recently held on 29^th of Baisakh 2075 at Charikot. The teachers from respective project areas and personnel of PEEDA examined the essay and poem for the final evaluation.
