As a part of the Climate Change Project implemented in Baiteswor Rural Municipality and Gaurishankar Rural Municipality, Dolakha, supported by Bread for the World, Germany, the Members of the Executive Committee (EC) of PEEDA led by the Chairperson conducted a monitoring visit in ward -3 of Baiteswor Rural Municipality on 14-16 March, 2024 (Chaitra 1-3, 2080) to assess the outcomes of the project.

The EC members interacted with the local government authorities and the targeted beneficiaries and discussed on tackling the effects of climate change. Further, they observed the cold storage system and solar lift irrigation system and understood how these energy systems have contributed to the livelihoods of the local communities.

They appreciated the support the local government has provided to combat with the adverse effects of climate change.
