Pioneering the field of industrial electric cooking

As a continuation of our commitment to promoting electric cooking, PEEDA installed industrial induction stoves at 8 schools of Baiteshwor Rural Municipality, Dolakha, under the project title ‘Electrifying the School Kitchen’ funded by WWF Nepal. This project aims not only to establish electricity as the primary cooking fuel but also to create a sustainable and healthier cooking environment for students and staff.

One Day Workshop on Municipal Energy Plan

PEEDA successfully completed a second 1-day workshop on 12th October, 2023 for Municipal Energy Plan (MEP) of the Baiteshwor Rural Municipality, Dolakha. Experience Sharing at the Provincial Energy Policy Dialogue for Bagmati Province

Fresh and organic green leafy vegetables through Hydroponics

Hydroponics is a method of grow­ing plants without soil, using only mineral nutrient solutions in water. Terrestrial plants are grown in pipes with only their roots exposed to the mineral solu­tion, or the roots may be supported by an inert medium such as sponge. This soil-less technology has been adopted at PEEDA (Technical Support of Windpower Nepal Pvt. Ltd.), where green leafy vegetable like lettuce, rocket, celery are grown in office open spaces.
