Annual Planning, Review and Reflection Meeting

A two days annual planning, review and reflection meeting of Climate Change and Livelihood Project (Phase II) was conducted on February 19-20, 2023 involving the central level staffs and field facilitators. This meeting acted as a platform in which discussions were held on accomplished project activities, sharing on the challenges in the project implementation, detail activity planning with division of roles and responsibilities, knowledge transfer among the project team, strengths and gap identification and ways moving forward.

PEEDA recently conducted a one day orientation programme in each of the project site on Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) to the School Management Committee/Parents Teachers Association, Elected representatives and students from class 8-12 in Nilkantheshwor Ma.Vi.,Jugu; Kalidhunga Ma.Vi, Mirge and Baiteshwor Ma.Vi., Namdu, Dolakha from 5-7 February, 2023. Nearly 470 people were sensitized on School based DRR and CCA including their terminologies, Safe School and School Level Disaster Plans.
